Service Description

Reiki is a Japanese alternative form of healing that promotes relaxation, and stress reduction. Reiki is life force energy that is spiritually guided. In Japanese, Rei means: Gods wisdom, and Ki means: life force energy. Reiki can be administered anywhere, for any amount of time. The client receiving reiki is fully clothed and is either laying down, or sitting in a chair. Depending on the clients preference, the practitioner provides a gentle light touch, or the hands are hovering over the body. While Reiki is spiritual, it is not linked to any religion. There is nothing the client needs to, say or believe, for energy to flow. Reiki is safe, and a unique way to release emotions that have been built up over time. Clients report feeling light, "tingly" and peaceful after a reiki session. During a reiki session with me, you will lay on a massage table with a pillow under your head and knees for comfort, and a blanket is available. Soft music will be playing in the background as you allow your body to truly relax. Guided imagery is always available for those who keep their eyes open. For those who are ready for a deeper relaxation, a one time use, heated eye mask will be provided. Throughout the session, I will use tunning forks to enhance the relaxation experience. Most clients have an emotional release which is very normal, so a tissue box is readily available. Water is also provided after every session.
